It all started in June 1940 at Normandy Hôtel Paris, when General de Gaulle had his last drink with the English General Spears in room 212. Upon his request, he wished a more discreet place than the hotel bar, before leaving France.

It was at this time that the code « ROOM SERVICE CLUB » was created, in order to privatize a room with hotel concierges to write and rewrite history in all discretion.

Thereafter, the code passed from palace to palace between their most prestigious clients in order to be able to benefit from a room transformed into a private restaurant for a few guests only.

It’s during the first containment, in March 2020, that Thibault Courtois D’Aubery, wandering through the hotel, came across these archives, which have been kept secret until now.

In September 2020, in partnership with the Machefert group, he created ROOM SERVICE CLUB. The only circle of Confidential Restaurants.
